Boss In Heels with Heather Monahan

In Rockstars Rocking Podcast by Ryan Miller

This episode of the #RockstarsRocking podcast features the one and only legendary rockstar herself, Heather Monahan, CEO, Boss In Heels, Keynote Speaker and Ted Speaker, Best Selling Author, and Podcast Host, out of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

With more than 175,000 Linkedin followers at the time these show-notes are being written – Heather Monahan has quickly become one of the most influential voices on all of Linkedin. Like most of us, I first discovered Heather online through her consistent social media posts and I was immediately intrigued with her story of how she climbed the corporate ladder, broke through the glass ceiling to land herself in the C-suite, embracing being fired, and then starting her entrepreneurial journey in August of 2017. Flash forward to 2018 where she became an immediate best-selling author of her first book, Confidence Creator, and by the end of 2019, she was delivering her first TedTalk. Since launching her podcast, named after her best-selling book, her show debuted in the Top 200 on Apple podcasts and she’s been able to land some of the most influential rockstar guests – including the likes of Sara Blakely, Gary Vaynerchuk, Ryan Serhant, John Ruhlin and many other noteworthy celebrities and entrepreneurs. Her second book, Overcome Your Villains, is due out in November of 2021 and is being published by Harper Collins Leadership. Heather has been featured in USA Today, CNN, Forbes, Fast Company, Gary V’s Audio Experience and The Steve Harvey Show.

In this week’s episode, Heather and I dig deep into how she got her start in the business world and how she believes the #MeToo movement stopped short of going after “the most evil villain”. From there, we chat about her first TedTalk, how she had just launched her coaching business when the world shut down and then we wrapped up by discussing her new book, Overcome Your Villains.

What? You want more? Great! You’re in luck because this week’s episode goes much deeper than what I shared above. How do you find out what else we discussed… well… grab your favorite cold beverage and tap that play button, to tune in to this week’s edition of the #RockstarsRocking podcast.
